BioMedizinTechnikum
located in Teterow near Rostock, Germany, is a business incubator that
focuses on biotechnology. BMTT accommodates unique surroundings for growing
innovative businesses. The competence centre was developed for the employment of
biotechnologies within the area of medical devices and medical technology on a
property size of 6000 m² with a total investment of approximately 17 million €.

State of-the-art rental spaces on approximately 3000 m² are conceived as
workshops and offices, laboratories as well as qualified clean rooms in the
classes D to B. A Laminar-flow-box enables operation on a class A safety
level. They are equipped with high-quality devices and are maintained by
competent clean room experts.
Supported by the city of Teterow, the BMTT promotes new projects and networks
trough close bonds between local companies, universities and research
institutions. The infrastructure includes a conference room equipped with
professional communication technology and even an in-house cafeteria.
The location Teterow has a business friendly climate eagerly supported by the
city administration. The town was selected as the most business friendly
municipality of the federal state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in 2004.The
city is the founding place and one of the initiators of the Life Science
initiative "BioCon Valley ".
